Najarra Townsend

Najarra was just three years old when she knew exactly what she was looking for in her life. She started modeling and take part in stage shows in her locality. All through her childhood and teens, she was deeply involved with both theatre and musical productions. In the film "Menace" where she was in the lead role, she appeared when she was ten years old. Najarra has been recognized internationally for her performance in "Me and You and Everyone We are" that won Sundance and Cannes awards in 2005. Najarra has been the main role in a variety of films, which include: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" and was a part of numerous other independent films. In 2014, audiences got to witness a brand new face of Najarra's young star as she appeared in"Contracted," which was an IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted".
