Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actress and a singer. Bell was raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is a nurse as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. She was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods with the family of a Polish mother and a father that was German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen was already an accomplished entertainer in the early stages. In 1992, she was awarded her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mother signed to become an agent was also cast in ads on newspapers and TV. She is now also taking private acting lessons. Bell was credited as a character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the leading Dorothy role. Bell was then transferred to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she took the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. Her first film credit in Pootie Tang during 2001. However, her scene cut, and her appearance only appears in the end credits. In 2002, Bell made an appearance on her first Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
