Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actress singer and former model. The actress was the co-star of Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain, and the singer for the girl band Apollonia 6 Apollonia was a performer/singer christened by Prince in 1984 was one of many female artists of the 1980s who benefited from Prince. She was born Patricia Kotero in Santa Monica California in 1959 her career began as a model and actress in the late '70s including an appearance on the television show CHiPS.
